KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died after a motorcycle and pickup truck collided in Harrisonville, Missouri, authorities said.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 2 near Interstate 49. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where he died, police said.
Police identified the man as 55-year-old Joseph Fuller of rural Harrisonville.
The other driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with officers.
West Mechanic Street near the Cass County Sheriff's Office was closed for several hours while first responders worked the scene.
