MSHP said 72-year-old Michael James Wakeman left his care facility on foot Tuesday to go to the library. He never returned.
Wakeman is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 272 pounds, and has white hair and hazel eyes.
He was wearing a white polo shirt, jeans and a Minecraft backpack when he left.
MSHP said Wakeman has previously walked away from the care facility.
Anyone who sees him or may have information about his whereabouts is asked to immediately dial 911, contact the nearest law enforcement agency or the Warrensburg Police Department at 660-747-9133.
