KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Firefighters were called to the 7700 block of 40 Hwy on a mulch fire that is expected to take days to extinguish.
Fire crews were called out to Missouri Organic Recycling Saturday afternoon on a mulch fire.
The crews immediately started trying to contain the fire. Six hours into the fire, it has not spread to a nearby office or equipment but the flames were still visible.
Firefighters tell 41 Action News the fire is expected to continue for days.
