KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An inmate was found dead at the Wyandotte County Detention Facility on Sunday afternoon.
Joseph Herrington was found unresponsive by a deputy conducting meal service, according to the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office.
Herrington, 42, was declared deceased by deputies and emergency medical services personnel.
A preliminary investigation there was no foul play in his death.
