KANSAS CITY, Mo. — No injuries were reported in a three-story apartment building fire late Thursday night on South Mill Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
Fire crews were called to the scene shortly before 11 p.m.
Shortly after firefighters began fighting the fire, there was a partial roof collapse in one section of the building and crews then moved into a defensive mode and fought the fire from outside.
No injuries were reported, and crews on the scene said the building was vacant.

One fire truck did get stuck in the mud for a short time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
