KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has canceled an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing Horton, Kansas, girl.

KBI issued the alert after the Horton Police Department made the request in an effort to locate Gianna Hazelton, 11.

Hazelton — a 4-foot and 1/2-inch female with black hair and brown eyes, who weighs 125 pounds — last had been seen Saturday evening in the 1600 block of Euclid Avenue in Horton. She was believed to be accompanied by the non-custodial parent, Casey Hazelton.

KBI announced shortly before 4:30 p.m. that the girl had "been found safely and is on her way home," according to a press release.
