KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police arrested a group of suspected armed robbers Monday night within minutes of their second robbery.

About 11:23 p.m., officers were called to the 100 block of North Parker Street for a reported armed robbery.

According to police, four males and a female in a vehicle approached a group of seven people in a parking lot. The driver displayed a handgun, and took property from one of the victims.

The suspects then fled and no injuries were reported.

A few minutes later, the same suspects approached a different group of five people in the 400 block of South Montclaire Drive.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle again displayed a handgun and took property from one of the victims. The group then fled, and again no injuries were reported.

Around 11:32 p.m., officers saw the suspect vehicle several blocks away and took the group of five alleged robbers into custody.
