The Kansas City Police Department released a statement saying a victim has died after a shooting in KCMO early Wednesday night.
According to the release, around 7:44 p.m. police responded to the 3500 block of Harrison Street on a call about a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from gunshots.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and according to hospital personnel the victim later died.
Police have not released the identity of the victim at this time.
