One person is dead following a wreck just north of the Truman Sports Complex.
The wreck happened at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning on Interstate 435 just north of Interstate 70.
A Kansas City firefighter was transported to the hospital, as one of the vehicles involved was a fire truck. No word on how badly the firefighter was hurt in the crash.
Police are still investigating what led up to the crash.
