KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One person is dead after a shooting near Tracy Ave. and Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. Saturday evening.
Police were called to the 4600 block of Tracy around 6:20 p.m. on the report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man dead at the scene. He was later identified as Rodney V. Thurber, 52, of Independence, Mo.
Police say a black male suspect was seen running eastbound from the scene.
