One in custody after police chase from KCMO to KCK

A man has been arrested after a police chase started in Missouri and ended in Kansas early Friday morning.

Police began to pursue a vehicle in Kansas City, Missouri, near 31st and Bell Street. The vehicle then crossed state lines, and Kansas City, Kansas police were called to assist KCMO officers.

During the chase, the suspect vehicle hit a building near 31st and Southwest Boulevard, a KCMO police cruiser and possibly another vehicle. No one was injured. 

Police said the suspect vehicle gave out and stopped near 10th and Metropolitan in KCK. Officers then arrested the driver. KCK officers made the arrest, but the suspect will be extradited to Missouri where he is expected to face charges. 

Police are investigating to see if alcohol was involved.

Officials haven't said what led to the chase.
