One person is in custody after a police pursuit late Wednesday morning.
Police spotted the driver of the vehicle going the wrong way on 40 Highway. When officers tried to pull the driver over, he sped away.
The pursuit ended near East 43rd Street and Jackson Avenue after stop sticks blew out the vehicle’s front left tire. Police then took the driver into custody.
U.S. Marshals and the ATF assisted the Kansas City Police Department in apprehending the driver.
