KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A man died after a shooting in KCK Saturday night.
Police Chief Terry Zeigler tweeted around 9 p.m. that officers were at the scene of a life-threatening shooting at Stewart Ave. and Springfield Blvd.

First responders tried to resuscitate the man at the scene, but the victim died.
Police later identified the victim as Germaine Owens, 39, of Kansas City, Missouri.
No suspect information was released.
