KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating after shots were fired into multiple houses around 7:40 p.m. Sunday on the city’s east side.
According the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, one woman was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She is in critical condition, according to KCPD.
Police have located at least two locations — near the intersections of 25th Street and Kensington Avenue and 25th Street and Cypress Avenue — where shots were fired and were looking for a car that had fled the scene.
The woman was shot in the 2500 block of Cypress.
No one is in custody and there is no suspect information at this time.
