KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 1-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, boy was hit and killed by a vehicle shortly before 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said a 2005 Mazda 3 struck a boy who was in the roadway at 803 Shawnee View Drive in Camden County, Mo.
The boy was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is underway.
