KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Overland Park police need your help finding the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash.
Police said the driver of a truck struck a 63-year old woman who was crossing the street at 77th Terrace and Metcalf around 10 p.m. Wednesday night. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.
She has been identified as Sherry J. Dunn of Overland Park.
The truck continued northbound on Metcalf Avenue. Police said the truck is a light-colored, possibly light gray or silver, GMC or Chevy crew cab pickup.
The pickup had a black or dark-colored bed cover and is missing the driver's side mirror.
