Kiosk at Ottawa City Hall damaged over weekend; police seeking truck

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A payment kiosk at the Ottawa, Kansas, City Hall was damaged over the weekend, causing around $700 in damage, officials said Tuesday.

Ottawa police are seeking a vehicle of interest in connection with the incident, which happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the building on South Hickory Street.

The city posted surveillance footage to its Facebook page of the pickup truck. The city said the vehicle was in the area at the time the property damage occurred.

Anyone who recognizes the truck is asked to call Sgt. J. Hawkins at 785-242-2561, extension 7436, or the police department’s non-emergency number at 785-242-1700.
