KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An Overland Park man who collected more than 44,000 images of child pornography was sentenced on Tuesday to 100 months in federal prison.
Robert Weick, 33, pleaded guilty in May to one count of distributing child pornography. Investigators found more than 44,000 images and 500 videos containing child pornography on his computer. Prosecutors said he shared some of those images with other computer users.
Weick also was ordered to pay $40,000 in restitution to victims identified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
