Overland Park police ask for public's help to find missing man

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Family, friends and police are looking for an Overland Park man who hasn't been seen for more than 24 hours.

Police said Moustafa Elgindy, 41, was last seen about 8:45 p.m., August 2, in the area of West 62nd and Marty streets in Overland Park.

Elgindy is 5' 11" and weighs about 260 pounds.

He has black hair, a thin beard and brown eyes, according to an Overland Park Police Department news release.

Elgindy wore a light blue shirt, camouflage shorts and black shoes.

Police said he's diabetic and needs his medication.
