OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Police are asking for help to identify a man who they say robbed a Walgreens pharmacy.

Dispatchers sent officers to the Walgreens at 75th Street and Metcalf Avenue at about 5:15 a.m. to investigate an armed robbery.

Overland Park police said the suspect entered the store, walked back to the pharmacy, and pointed a handgun at a victim and demanded Oxycontin.

The suspect left in a tan/gold Ford Explorer with unknown Indiana tags. OP police said there were two other men in the vehicle.

A Walgreens employee said the entire ordeal took less than one minute.

The pharmacy, which is open 24 hours, changes its hours next week. Beginning May 3, it will close from midnight to 8 a.m.

Police have not arrested any suspects.
