UPDATE, March 10 | Overland Park police said the dog that bit five people over the weekend has been captured.

ORIGINAL, March 8 | Overland Park police are searching for a dog that bit five people on Sunday.

Police said that the incident occurred around 5 p.m. in the area of 138th and Lamar Streets.

The dog, a medium-sized yellow lab mix, ran away and has not been located.

Police said the dog was aggressive and asked anyone who sees the animal not to try and catch it, but to call police at 913-895-6300.
