Crews have boarded up the side of a MetroPCS store after a driver crashed into the business early Tuesday morning.
Authorities say the driver of an old Chevrolet vehicle smashed into MetroPCS near 47th and Parallel Parkway around 1:45 a.m.
The car drove through the wall, hit an electric box and made it halfway through the store causing thousands of dollars in damage. The crash brought down siding, drywall and several pieces of the roof.
According to the owner, the driver was arrested but that has not yet been confirmed by police.
The owner hopes to fix the store by the end of the week
