KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thousands lost power Sunday, after thunderstorms moved through the area overnight.
More than 7,000 customers in the KC Metro area lost power.
Evergy said all available crews are working to restore the power. They say they expect to have power back to all customers by late Sunday.
Individual restoration times were not available.
