UPDATE: The overturned semi has been cleared from the scene, traffic in all lanes is back to normal.
An overturned semi is impacting traffic on eastbound Interstate 435 and Roe in Overland Park.
Shortly after 5 a.m., a semi traveling EB on I-435 overturned in the right lane.
Overland Park police say the semi did not spill its contents, and no injuries were reported.
Emergency crews are making progress and hope to have the right lane open shortly.
Motorists are still encouraged to seek an alternate while traffic is slow in the area.
