KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Park Hill School District Wednesday posted a warning after receiving reports of a man approaching high-school-aged girls at bus stops.

In a post on its Facebook page, the district said the man was reportedly offering rides to girls at bus stops near 58th and Waukomis.

He's described as a tall, white man with dark hair that is shaved on the sides. He has a muscular build and a tattoo on his arm. He was spotted both on foot and in a black Jeep Cherokee.

The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department and the Platte County Sheriff's Department plan to increase patrols in the area, according to the district.

Anyone who sees someone matching this description is asked to call police and advised not to approach him.
