The No. 2 ranked Park University women's volleyball team advances to tonight's NAIA Women's National Championship match in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Pirates (35-1) beat Nov. 15 Midland University, Neb. (26-8), in the semifinal match this morning 3-1 (26-28, 25-19, 25-15, 25-10).
Park will play American Midwest Conference rival No. 3 Columbia (Mo.) College (32-4).
The Cougars defeated No. 7 ranked Viterbo University Wisc. (33-8) in the other semifinal, 3-1 (25-22, 25-14, 20-25, 25-15).
Park is seeking its second national title (2014, a perfect 40-0). while Columbia is chasing its fifth title. (1998, 1999, 2001, 2015).
The championship match is tonight at 7pm.
