UPDATE, Sept. 20 | Police say they have located Slinger and that she is no longer missing.
EARLIER | Police in Peculiar are asking for help to locate a missing teenage girl.
Hailey L. Slinger, 17, was last seen Monday and last spoke with her family around 4:40 p.m. Monday.
The family believes she was at a Burger King in Grandview at the time.
Slinger is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has a heart tattoo with the initials LS-DS on the inside of her left forearm and a left eyebrow piercing.
The family believes she “could be in harm’s way due to who she is running with,” Peculiar police said in a release.
