KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Polie say Donna J. Simmons, 50, was killed after being struck by a car in the Northland Tuesday evening.
The crash happened on Interstate 435 near Shoal Creek Parkway around 7:20 p.m.
Police said a car was going north on I-435 when it struck a pedestrian in its lane of travel.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the car were not hurt.
