KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
The incident happened at about 8:40 p.m. at East 51 Street and Cleveland Avenue.
Kansas City, Missouri, police said a brown Ford Taurus was traveling north on Cleveland Avenue in the rain and the driver said she was unable to stop in time when she saw a pedestrian crossing the road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
