Pedestrian injured in Main Street crash

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police said a pedestrian received serious injuries when they were hit by an SUV around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

According to KCPD, a black Jeep Cherokee was traveling north on Main Street near East 40th Street when the Jeep hit a pedestrian who was running from the east side to the west side of the street in the crosswalk.

The driver was not hurt.

The pedestrian has serious injuries.
