KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle just after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday near Bannister Road and Parkwood Ave.
A black Mitsubishi Mirage was traveling east on Bannister Road when the driver said she suddenly saw a man in front of her on the road.
The driver said she tried to avoid the man but hit him with the left front side of her vehicle. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with Kansas City, Missouri, police.
