KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A pedestrian was struck and killed running across I-635 near State Avenue Friday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says about 10:15 Friday night a vehicle was northbound on I-635 in the middle lane when it struck a pedestrian that was running across the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
