KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A pedestrian was struck and killed on northbound 71 Highway and Bannister Road late Saturday night.
Police say about 10:50 p.m. a vehicle was traveling north on U.S. 71 Highway after Bannister road in the number three lane when they struck a pedestrian in the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene to talk with investigators.
No other details have been released.
