KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The 20th anniversary of Planet Comicon in Kansas City, Missouri, is underway at Bartle Hall.
The three-day event, which kicked off Friday, celebrates all things related to superheroes, comic books, celebrities, and pop culture.
The guest lineup this year includes William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Dean Cain, Lori Petty, John Wesley Shipp, Mick Foley, and more.
The Planet Esports Arena, where attendees will be immersed into an extensive gaming area, is new this year. Gamers will compete for $20,000 in prizes at Cataclysm.
Planet Comicon runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and wraps up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
