KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The cleanup process began yet again after a fourth night of protests over the death of George Floyd gripped Kansas City, Missouri.
Protesters gathered near the Country Club Plaza again on Monday afternoon for peaceful demonstration.
The group lasted into the night, with some scuffles between police and those present being reported again.
KCPD spokesperson Sgt. Jacob Becchina said the last few stragglers were ran off just before midnight.
He estimated over 20 people were arrested on the fourth night. Only two medical calls were made, and they were for medical emergencies and not injuries.
Because of the continued presence of protesters and weekend vandalism, the Plaza will remain closed on Tuesday. It has been closed since cleanup on Saturday.
