UPDATE: Missing teen with autism found safe

UPDATE 7/6, 6:45 a.m. — Police said early Wednesday morning that Jason Devers had been found and is safe.

PREVIOUS —  KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A south Kansas City teen with autism is missing and his family is concerned about his safety.

Jason Devers, 18, was last seen about 4 p.m. Thursday at his home in the Sni-A-Bar area of east Kansas City, police said.

Jason is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds.

Police said he was wearing black gym shorts, a blue shirt with the word autism on it and black Reebok shoes.
