KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lawrence police said they have reopened the area of 11th Street just east of Haskell Avenue after a person was struck by a train and killed Thursday night.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., police notified the public that they had blocked off the area due to the incident.
The roadway where the incident occurred has reopened as of 9:40 p.m., police said.
