KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police have determined that an online threat against the Center School District is not credible.
District leadership posted on Facebook Sunday acknowledging the threat, which was posted on social media.
Police, according to the statement, “have not discovered any credible threat toward Center High School or any other Center School District location.”
Police said they took a report on the threat and that it was referred to “the proper investigative elements” for further review. No additional details were available Sunday afternoon.
Classes have not been canceled for Monday, but there will be an extra police presence on campus.
