Police investigate deadly shooting in Kansas City

Kansas City police are investigating a deadly shooting Wednesday night.

At 6:50 p.m., officers were called to the 4000 block of Olive in regard to a shooting.

When officers arrived, a shooting victim was located with no signs of life. Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting is being investigated as a homicide. According to police, the suspect left the area in a dark blue Chrysler.
