Police investigate homicide near Gregory, Flora

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a homicide near East Gregory Boulevard and Flora Avenue.

Police responded around 7:30 p.m. Saturday to a shooting call after reports of multiple gun shots and seeing a person “down on the ground in the street.”

A man, who had been shot multiple times, was found south of the intersection, according to police.

The man, who was identified Monday as 26-year-old Brandon Grimes-McCord, was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
