Police are investigating after a shooting in NE Kansas City, Mo has left one victim in critical condition.
According to officials, around 9:00 p.m. a male victim was reportedly suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries following a shooting near Morrell and Benton Avenues in east Kansas City.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where police say his injuries have worsened to life-threatening.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
