KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Leawood police are looking for a former resident who has not been seen since July.

Kimberly A. Cooke, 55, had moved out of her Leawood home and was known to be staying at motels in the Kansas City metro before her last known contact with anyone in July 2020, Leawood police said Wednesday.

She takes medication, but police said there are no indications that a medical condition led to her disappearance. Police also said there are no indications of foul play.

Cooke formerly lived on the East Coast and had made a comment about returning, police said.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 105 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Leawood Police Investigations Unit at 913-663-9309 or tips@leawood.org.
