A man has died following a two-vehicle accident in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to police, a man was driving a Ford southbound on Holmes Road when he slowed to make a left turn onto 115th Street.
The Chevy that was driving behind him swerved to the left side of the Ford and struck the vehicle on the driver's side. The Ford went off the road and hit a gas main.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officials have identified the deceased driver as Gary J. Dramshek, 72, of KCMO.
The driver of the Chevy was taken into custody for investigation of impairment.
Missouri Gas Energy fixed the gas leak two and half hours later.
The investigation is ongoing.
