2:45 p.m. | Clay County Sheriff's deputies say two people were taken into custody and roads have been reopened.
EARLIER | Clay County sheriff’s deputies are standing off with a possible shooting suspect.
According to a department spokesperson, deputies were called to the 9000 block of Liberty Drive around 5 a.m. on a reported shooting.
At least one suspect entered a nearby house and barricaded themselves inside.
Law enforcement used a nearby strip mall parking lot as a staging area.
Authorities continued to negotiate with the suspect as of noon.
