KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A midtown mainstay for late night and early morning breakfast food is planning to close.
Chubby’s at 37th and Broadway will close at 6 a.m. Nov. 1 after more than 30 years in the location.
Snax Management group purchased the restaurant five years ago. Snax owner Tony Olsen said the decision to close was difficult.
“We introduced new concepts, free cinnamon rolls for each customer and worked daily to ensure the best service at this Kansas City icon,” Olsen said in a news release announcing the closure.
