KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A portion of eastern Jackson County, Missouri — including Buckner, Levasy and Sibley — are under a boil advisory following a pressure drop.
The city of Buckner said a pressure-reducing valve between Buckner and Independence failed, causing a reduction in water pressure.
The Jackson County Health Department said the advisory remains in effect until further notice.
