The Missouri Department of Transportation is turning its attention to the potholes that are blooming with the arrival of spring. The department has initiated "Missouri Pothole Patrol,” which is an effort to patch potholes within a 24-hour period after they are reported.
If you see a pothole, here's what you can do:
• Call MoDOT’s Customer Service Center, available 24/7, at 1-888-ASK-MODOT (888-275-6636).
• Get online and report a road concern.
• Visit MoDOT's mobile site here.
• Send an email to comments@modot.mo.gov
MoDOT tells 41 Action News these pothole patches are only a temporary fix. Once the weather warms up, the temporary patches will be replaced with permanent repairs.
