KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Prairie Village police announced Wednesday morning that they were searching a home and a business in connection with missing woman Angela Green, who has not been seen since June.

A home in the 7600 block of Tomahawk Road in Prairie Village and a granite business in the 1400 block of Woodland Street in Olathe were searched.

Police did not say why those two places were targeted.

The Johnson County Crime Lab, Johnson County Medical Examiner's Office, Olathe Police Department, Overland Park Police Department, Leawood Police Department and the Johnson County District Attorney's Office were all assisting on Wednesday morning, according to Prairie Village police.

Green has been missing since June 19, 2019. She was last seen in the 7600 block of Tomahawk Road.

Prairie Village police spokesman Capt. Ivan Washington confirmed the Tomahawk address they searched is the home where Green and her husband live.

He said it is the first time police have been inside the home and that it is a "fact-finding mission" to help them find Green.

"At this point, we are still working a missing persons investigation," Washington said. "Nothing says this will not change to a criminal investigation, but as we sit here right now, it's a missing persons."

Police launched their investigation on Feb. 18, when a family member reported her missing.

Green is a 52-year-old Asian female who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 116 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators previously said they were worried for the missing woman's safety. Washington reiterated that they received conflicting statements leading police to believe Green is endangered.

"Some questions are simple to answer, and when they start to get conflicting statements, it's concerning to us," Washington said.

Anyone with information about Green’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 913-642-6868 or the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
