TOPEKA, Kan. — President Trump has landed in Topeka.

His first order of business a roundtable discussion with supporters at the Kansas Expocentre.

Afterward, Trump will lead a Make America Great Again rally.

The visit to Topeka is aimed at bolstering support for Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who is running for governor in a three-candidate race set to be decided in Novermber.

He also is expected to address the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Kavanaugh was confirmed Saturday by the Senate in a 50-48 vote after a contentious hearing, truncated FBI probe and amid highly partisan bickering.
