Raytown man discovers he'd been shot

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A Raytown man is recovering Friday after he found out he was shot.

Raytown Police were called to an area hospital around 2:30 a.m. Friday after receiving word a man had been shot.

Police later determined the man had been shot on 64th Street near Raytown Road around 12:30 a.m.

The victim told police he was approached by an unknown suspect and he then heard a loud bang.

He later discovered he had been shot and went to the hospital.

Raytown Police say they have not made any arrests in the incident.
